Default what motor?

Hi Guys, does anyone know what motor this is? 280? 300? Dimensions: 58mm overall length including the shaft and pinnion, 27mm can width, 45mm overall can length. It's one from the pair that power my 1:12 Abram's M1A2 Hailaing and seems to be of very low quality! I had just finished testing my Tri Pact Speed Controller when this motor began to smoke like mad! I switched off and when it cooled down it still worked, but way down on power causing the Tank to pull to the left. I replaced it and all is well again but now I've only got one spare Hailaing motor left! Also if I can get decent motor replacements, how could the 11 tooth pinion be fitted to the shaft? Are there 11 tooth pinions available with grub screws like tamiya? Thanks in advance!

Default RE: what motor?

Looks like a 380/400 to me, dimensions seem about right too.

Hi James, thanks for that, I will now go and have a look around for a local source.
