Old Tamiya KT (clutch version) tensioners
I've seen people posting about some of the shortcomings of the Tamiya KT tensioners. As I have an older KT and not the newer one, does anyone know if the tensioners/idlers are the same as the newer KT? I was thinking of trying to replace the ones I have but don't know if the newer ones are compatible or not. Or, if anyone has a home remedy because the little drums/spring setup simply doesn't work for me at all.
Thx all,

Hey Count,
I have tried the ones from BYA and they work O.K. but then I got Daryl Turners Idler upgrade and it work really good. you can reach him at [email protected] . He usually checks his e-mail in the evenings if he hasn't already.

Thanks for the info. The slack in the tracks are such that removing links will make them too tight, while leaving them where I have it is too much slack! I will check out those resources.
