ND HELP: Sprocket Removal for HL Pershing and VSTank
Hello fellow Tankers,
Just started RC Tank hobby recently and I have difficulty removing the driving sprockets from my HL Pershing and VSTank. Couldn't go any further since I'm afraid that excessive force might damage the part. As to where I'm staying right now, parts may not easily come by. I've also googled around with no result (maybe wrong keyword?!)
Anyway, really appreciate if anyone can share with me (as well others who might face same problem) their "safe" method of doing the above. Illustration and pictures are most welcome!!

First time I took mine off it was on there real good also. There is only one screw right in the middle of the drive sproket. Just wiggle it alittle back and forth it will come free. make sure you put the track guides back in the right way aslo. there will be 4 pcs to the drive sproket. The way I did it was to wrap your fingers around the drive like a claw. and give it a litle wiggle as you pull it away from the drive shaft.

Did any one have problems with the tracks not sitting in the Road wheels right. Meaning that the tracks would "jump" when they rotated over the idler? This was something I had to fix with My HL pershing as well as some other minor things.

ah64, thx for the info. So if I got it right, simply pull out the sprocket from the shaft with little wiggling.
I'm gonna try it this coming weekend.
