Default Freinds trailer and tank update

hi guys, just here to post some pics of my freinds trailer(cpt pershing) because he is never on this forum himself and he will be gettin his hl pershing tmorow because the stupid post office misplaced it anyway back to the trailer he has simply made the trailer out of plywood and it is the same size as the pershing he is using skateboard trucks and wheels but is covering the wheels with rubber and the roof is made out of heshin and has been hot glue gunned to the wire. He is also going to buy some soilders and guns from the local hobbyshop to put in their aswell hopefully the poor old pershing can tow this.[&:]

And just a question a little bit off topic to anyone who has played halo 2 on xbox has anyone made the tank off that to r/c model if so that would be cool.

Post pic of freinds tank and trailer in action tommorow.

Kind regrds pantigerman.

Not completely certain about the part on the loader's hatch that you mention but it sounds like the mount or hasp for the padlock (used for locking the tank shut). Perhaps the factory workers got some glue on it by accident and glued it shut. It should open so you can turn the airsoft unit on and off.

Here's a pic of what I think you're speaking of: http://tanxheaven.com/ljs/pershing1-16/40.JPG

If the hatch's handle is at 12 o'clock, the padlock hasp is 11 o'clock.

No hassles, dude. Sorry for the misunderstanding. The hatch handle is indeed the thing you would open it up with. I was not able to see the pic you posted showing "some litle plastic thing put across one end of it" so I had to guess at what the trouble was.

See if you can pry the hatch open with a thin hobby knife or open the tank up, separate the turret halves (they unscrew) and try to knock the hatch open from the other side. Hopefully you can get it open without breaking it. Aside from that I'm kind of out of ideas...

hi harq yeah that little plastic thing was a mistake on my behalf it comes on stock with every hl tank and that picture you posted was dead on what it looks like so good guess. And also thank you very much for your help on this issue you definately are one of the most helpful tankers i have ever come across and with ripping it open and taking it apart i might wait till i get my bulldog to test that out cause i dont want to be breaking my freinds tank.

and sorry for not posting the pic in the first place dont have to now since your kind self did(stupid me)[:'(]

Thanks again harq

kind regards pantigerman.
