What is the advantage of using the metal transmission if you are using the driveshaft support bushings? Is it strictly for appearance?

it is for the appearance (sure - you can also make the weld seam by yourself - but it will be difficult to correct the wrong Tamiya screws) and the heaviness ...

Ordered the POM gearbox supports, couple of buckets, tow cables and some other small parts. I'm going to start modifying my exhaust in the next couple of days. I would post some pics, but I am at work right now and our "censors" won't let us upload any.

@Stern, I will probably mount the smoker either "in" or cut away a part of the speaker from the KT (right side, where its empty) Haven't quite decided yet. Still looking for a proportional smoker here, but will eventually be getting the one from Asiatam.
@Thestuff, its called "Zimmerit", used as an anti-magnetic paste in WWII (German tanks).

cutting away a part of the speaker from the KT could be a problem - maybe you ahve to make a new box for the speaker ...
I am thinking about using a smoker from the modell railway with a fan like in the S21 thread and a box done by myself - so it should possible to make it fitting ...

Yea, planning on cutting the rear box, since half of it is empty anyway, filling the cut away part with plastic sheet and then placing the smoker in the cut away part. The speaker box would look like a laying down "L"
