Default New Tiger has arrived. Pictures included

Well I was so happy with my first tank(Bulldog) I ordered a Tiger. I must say I am very pleased with it. People commented that the Bullldog is the best HL tank to date, but I think perhaps HL is learning and the batch of latest Tigers seems pretty good.

I took the thing apart and found the construction to be good quality and the quality of the soldering was much improved over the Bull dog. I corrected all the errors, including extending the barrel. I replaced the airsoft barrel with a tigher tolerance longer one. This improved both the range and accuracy from the stock gun. I have painted and detailed the tank with some heavy weathering yet to come. I first concentrate on turning the plastic into something that looks like steel, and then I will apply flat washes until I get the weathered look I am looking for.

I made the decals and the German battle flag using my computer and inkjet printer.

I installed bright white LEDs and a fibre optics into the front machine gun to make a better representation of gun fire. Gone is the RED warning light that indicated a round was forthcoming

Here are some pictures to show my effort to date.

I am also going to download some detailed shots

It was a pistol port and feateured on the early version Tigers. The initial batches had one each side but the right hand one was replaced by an escape hatch after the first few batches. Mid production and late did not feature the pistol port on either side.
