Default My M26 Pershing was successfully fixed. Thanks, ah64!!

Hi guys,

The S/S Peshing I recently got had a problem (the circuit boards got fried).
Upon posting the problem here, ah64 offered to send me a set of boards (for free) that came in yesterday.

After replacing the boards, my Pershing became fully functional again.

He also tole me a site where I could buy fiber optics, and I placed an order yesterday.
(I modified the hull mechine gun by bore through the length of barrel with 1/16" drill bit so the muzzle would light up when fired, instead of that ridiculous red light flashing "under" the machine gun guard)
Once I receive the fiber optic, I will insert it through the bore and the gun it will be bit more realistic.

Thanks again, ah64!!!

I will take some pics of my Pershing that I finished repainting last week and post them here this weeked.

No Problem, Just Glad to hear they worked out for you. Yes do get those pics up I wanna see how it came out. I will post my pics to I have been saying for the last few days that I was gonna do it but kept getting interupted. Once I get these Gearboxes back in and the electronics hooked up I should be good.

Also looking forward to your pictures. I too have corrected the hull machine gun error and have done the mod you have suggested. It is more or less the way Tamiya intended.

Glad someone on the forum got you the help you needed.
