RE: new leo 2a6
yes & no i've assemled some of the tamiya 1/35 armor, but this is a first for somthing like this.construction won't start right away as i will be odering lots of metal parts for this tank(and by the way i can't afford it either ,but someone wise once told me sometimes you have to suck it up and go for it.it's not going to matter 50 years from now anyway ha! ha![8D]

Save yourself a headache and get the metal swing arms for the road wheels. The plastic ones in the kit will split where they screw to the torsion bar retainer. other than that the kit runs great.

But they do come in kits. You have to deconstruct them first! Seriously though, you can cut them up into individual parts and add scratch-made details as well as aftermarket enhancements (especially those made for 1/16 Tamiya tanks).
I think most of us can afford a Tamiya but we cannot justify the high price. I can no longer do so myself and I own two Shermans bought years ago.

some people ride harleys & some don't,it depends on what the individual wants.i've wanted a tam. tank longer than i can remember & i think a tam. kt is next.
