Benny, when are you gonna use the "search" button? We don't mind answering your questions, if you simply scrolled down you'd see that we answered it twice already this week.
I like the Venom 3600s, that's all I use. I try to buy the ones with the "noodle" wire because not all the battery packs are the same length so I use the shorter ones in the Tigers and the limber wires help. I get 3+ hours on them. The 3300s can be had for a little bit less, but I wanted all my tanks to have the same juice.
Now, your next question is about a good battery charger right? I like the DuraTrax Piranha. It's about $50 at Tower and has an LCD screen.

I have DuraTrax IntelliPeak AC/DC Deluxe Pulse Charger, which cost a little more but comes with an AC power supply and has "Zero Delta V" peak detection technology for Ni-MH's: [link]http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXUF45&P=0[/link]
Yes, the "Search" function is one of your best friends.

RE: Batteries
I just picked up a Venom 3600 today. cant say i got a good deal on it though ..... the place was expensive as he-double-hockey-sticks!!! cost me 50 bucks cdn. now that i looked through the forum, i see how bad that is.
anyhow, anyone know what the charge time would be with the HL charger? I assume 5-6 hrs if not longer.
EDIT:
I see you are not supposed to use "trickle" chargers with the venoms... anyone got a link or tell me whats the best to use? that is if the HL one isnt good to use.

RE: Batteries
If you want to know for certain, then take the stated capacity of the battery (in maH) and divide it by the output of the charger (mine states it is 400maH). That should give you the charge time in hours.
But by all accounts, you should have ditched that wall charger by now. [:'(]

RE: Batteries
Depending on budget you can get cheap delta peak chargers for 5-7 cell nimh for around 15.00 us (plus shipping)
http://www.amondotech.com/index.asp?...S&Category=238
Personally I think if you have the money you should get a better charger that will handle 4-8 cells so you can charge your transmitter packs as well ($35) or lipos so that if you decide to get lipo packs you don't have to upgrade your charger as well this will run you around 100.00 ( I use a MRC Super Brain 977 with maxamp 4400 NMiH packs in my tanks and I run 2100mah NMiH packs in my radios)

RE: Batteries
Venom would consider the wall charger a trickle charger. The minimum charging amps is 3 max. HLs are either 250 or 500 milliamps.
I didn't want to spend a fortune, this one plugs into the wall and has served me well:
