Work continues on my tiger project.

Under the new stowage box is the recharging plug

The chain has been hooked up to the antenna. I'll see how this works.

Still waiting on electronics so the tracks are still off

Looking good. Just a quote, what you call "stowage box" is actually a wooden block for the jack.....

Oh is that what that is. I'll have to redo the box into a block then. Thanks. On the Heng long it looked like a stowage box so when I rebuilt it, I made it look like a box. Are you telling me this was just a solid block of wood with iron sides used for a base for a jack?

Hi YHR
No iron sides, just wood blocks(s) strapped with metal bands. There is uncertainity about if it was just one block or two (as can be seen in Bovington's Tiger).
Here is an image from one of the best Tiger I models I know (Arthur Wandas), and another of the actual Bovington's Tiger. Your choice.

I purchased them from a place called [link=http://smalljoes.com/]smalljoes[/link] They are 1/18 scale but that is close enough. They only cost about $5.oo. Compare that to the resin figures that are around, and they seem like a real deal. They have a whole SS set that could be interesting

Hi Steve
This time you hit! Tools and general purpose detachable stowage box. Not sure if it was wooden or metal-wood sandwich....good question. From the pics I think it was metal-wood, but unsure.
