I'm building the Tamiya Tiger 1 and was getting pretty close to done. In fact I was spraying the final matt coat after I had sealed the decals with Future when disaster struck. I was using Future and Tamiya flat base mixed together. I thought I had the mix right but ended up with a completely frosted tank! I tried alcohol, paint thinner and gum spirits turpentine to get the flat base off but only made a bigger mess. I eventually had to strip the entire model with oven cleaner. This destroyed the decals I used of course. Does anyone out there in RC land have the "214" set (with leaping animal unit symbol) and the 2 small Balkankreuz's left over they can send me? I will gladly exchange my left over decal sheet if you wish. Here is a picture of the decals I need. Thanks.

There is a seller on Ebay called 'Creeping Death' they sell full sheets with all the different division markings etc etc plenty of numbers and all. Do a search, they are in the US but ship to Europe. Just one idea, I have a set and I have done three tanks with a sheet and still have plenty left over.

I think ive let one of my secrets out !!

Interesting...are you with the British Army there? I was dating a young lady whose father was a major in the Finance Corps, stationed at Fallingbostel lager. Had to get his permission to visit her at her school at bath. Wasn't much of a post from what I recall.
