Well I'd only had my sherman for 5 days and I just could not wait any longer.
Stripped it down completely for a repaint.
As you can see,this is how I got it

And this is how it is now,when I said stripped down,that included the paint on the metal parts aswell.

Also thought I might try and fabricate the light covers.Here's the rears,old plastic one to the left.Tyied to do the fronts but they are very difficult,I may stick with the plastic ones for the front.

Thanks briz.I will more than likely keep the rear ones,it's the front ones that I just can't seem to make.
Undercoated the lower hull and sprockets matt black today.
Need to clean up upper hull next so I can start painting that too.
