I just saw some preorder Tam Panthers on an online auction site for shipment on April 20, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what sort of performance we could expect from the new Tamiya Panther at a battleday event? It should rate as a heavy tank at the battle, right? According to historical data, it should run circles around a Tiger 1 and Tiger 2. I am curious about the traverse rate too, faster or same speed as Tigers? My thoughts are that this will be THE German tank to beat on the battlefield and should have performance similar to the Pershing. Just my 2 cents...

The actual turret speed was no better then the Tiger I wasn't it? That's how Sgt. Early got that one in Cologne.

Panther about 360°/18 seconds so yes, faster than the Tiger I, even the King Tiger was faster than the Tiger I !

YUP! The Panther turret is pretty fast!
