Default Don't cut the white wire!

What does the white wire that runs from the on switch to the receiver board on the HL do? It's a dead terminal on the switch so it does't connect to anything. Anyone know?

It acts as a protection against unintentional grounding. It's also probably responsible for 3/4 of my blown boards! You can safely leave it off.
