Fellow Tankers,
As I mentioned, IMPACT is working on a STUG III conversion kit & we would like to get some input on what you'd like to see. Versions, options, etc... just try to be realistic & constructive in your responses.
I can't say much other than the kit is designed to replace the upper exterior (hull & major components) of Heng Long's new PzKw III. The detail & quality of the kit, just like our track & upgrade accessories, will be first rate. We have another conversion kit planned after the Stug that should get a few of you guys excited.
With this & other parts we are soon to release, I think you will agree that IMPACT plans to be more than just another source for quality metal track.
Thanks.
Logan

Personally id like to see an Ausf F or F/8. Possibly an Ausf B. Theres 2 other companies planning on doing AusfG conversions and the G has been done to death in the 1/35 scale market.

Get HL to make an M4A1 VVSS Sherman, then you can come out with the upper hulls for all the variants. A2, A3, A4 Long Hull, M10 and M36 Tank Destroyers, etc. The most popular Allied tank of WW2 and it doesn't exist in RC form with VVSS suspension.

It would be nice to see 3 types, an early with the short 75, a mid type with the longer 75 and a Sturmhaubitze 42 (105mm L/28) assault howitzer.

With the Century 21 Pz IV's. you can do a lot. I have converted one to D by moving the antenna to its original location on the right with a fold down tray and removed the turret bussle stowage bin. I still have to replace the double doors on the turret with single ones. My E has the antenna at the left rear in the antenna mast moulded onto the chassis and the antenna guard removed from the gun.....all of these have to have the TC hatch cut to make the split hatch covers. Maybe not an absolute perfect conversion, but pretty close. The photo of my D still has the single piece hatch....since corrected.

Well to start with, offer the basic superstructure.
Then have the roof, side boxes, the G cupola, guns and mantlets as options. This way the customer can build/buy his version. If you offer it this way, there are more possibilities to choose from plus increase sales as well. I wouldn't mind having two. Something like and A or C, then maybe the F/8 and the G.
Wait ... that's 3!
