Default Stencils and Transfers

Hope everyone had a nice weekend, the weather was great in South Florida the last couple of days.

I was wondering where I can go to get custom decals or stencils made? I've tried making an Eagle Globe and Anchor stencil for the glacis plate of my Pershing but it never turns out right. Making a USMC or the side numbering stencils was even more difficult.

I have the next 4 tank projects planned out and could have decals or stencils done for all of them on one sheet if need be.

What do you guys do?

I too have been trying to get stencils but in 1/6 scale and on this side of the pond it seems to be impossible to get a one off stencil made. None of the companies want to touch it and most requests have simply been ignored. I would make one myself but it's a large 8 and a 3 that I want doing and it's got the fine lines going through the numbers too so I have found it impossible to do it, it needs to be laser cut or something.
I could buy some from Armorpax but you have to buy the complete set at about £95 / $190 and that's just taking things too far. If I do discover anywhere that will do them at a reasonable price I will let you know.

Give this place a try: [link]http://www.getstencils.com/[/link]

He does excellent job, and his prices are very reasonable. The airplane guys use his stencils with great success.
