Hi guys,

Just tested my new non S&S HL PIII.

Drives realy well except for the fact that it 'locks' into reverse when reverse is selected - that is, when releasing the controller after having selected reverse, it continues to reverse. Need to go forward to get it out of reverse.

Any sugesstions as to what may becausing this?

Check the trim. Its one of the sliding buttons on the transmitter.

also controller might be sticky

There wont be any trims on a non-smoker. The problem is, its a non-smoker.
