Default WACKY PERSHING!!

Geez the hits keep coming! Ok brand new Pershing that will not obey the commands of the transmitter and sometimes has a mind of it's own. I tried different crystals and different transmitters swapped antennaes and the Tank is seriously misbehaving. I opened it up and cannot see anything wrong. What the hell is going on? Is it the receivor board? I do have 3 replacements coming in. This tank was purchased of ModelCity of EBAY.

Hi i had that problem with mine and found out that where they screw the antenna wire on the holder inside the body was going through the tape they had over it and hitting the motor can causing all the problems...take it apart and put electrical or duct tape over it then give it a try.

Ok will try that and hope it works out. I've got 3 transmitters with ch3 that the Pershing is running on. I will try the antennae suggestion first and see if that works. Thanks guys.

Hi guys. Well the PERSHING WACKINESS IS CURED!! I removed the wire from the antennae and lengthened it so that it could be tucked away from the motor cans. Seems the wire was resting on the motors and of course was receiving direct interference. I tucked the wire underneath the hull and kept it well clear of the motors. Gave it a test run after some trimming and the Tank is now behaving like a good tank should. Thanks guys for your help.

snow tank I knew it was that! Mine was the same way i don't know why they put the antenna so close to the motor!....This should be stuck up in the sticky thread about tanks i bet alot of M26 owners have this problem and don't ever know how to fix it ...it's almost like a fault from the HL factory..once the sharp antenna screw wears through there thin tape they put over it your tank then goes crazy!

Agreed this should be a "Sticky". No problem with Tanks with the gears in the front. I wonder if the Bulldog will be the same way. When it arrives I will take it apart and check for that and if so will correct it right away.

Hi I think it's just the M26 they put the antenna right above the motor actually contacting it...No problem with the bull dogs
