New Sticky Idea?

Hey Richard and anyone else who wants to chime in, do you think having a sticky of RC tank clubs would be worthwhile? I know Snowtank just formed one and I will do something in the WNY area with dacostasr, it would be nice to be able to instantly see if you have a club in your area.

Thought i'd try this one more time before letting it die a ignominious death, in the last while I have located 4 people by watching their location in the identity part of the post. From this we have the start of a club in our area ( western NY ), I also see YHR is trying to start a club in his area and so is Snowtank, having the clubs and locations stickied would make finding fellow tankers a breeze. So if enough people agree with this being helpful the admin might create a stickie for us - nows your chance to speak up people !

I am just spit balling here, but I guess the key data would be , Name, Contact, City, Country. Anybody have any input for this or does this seem to cover it?

Name of Club, contact forum name, location of club city and country. Aside from Club name this info is already visible in this forum via the post ID on the left of every post

Sounds like a winner to me, You got my vote. I see and agree about yout last on the info.
Maybe add something about areas of interrest? Combat meets, hacking the tanks, something like that.
I'm not too up to snuff on WWII Armor, not that fervent a history buff. Hard to remember what I thought I knew as a kid some 45+years ago (you know, "Nope, 'Panzers' didn't all have 88's, Mk4,s & Mk5's (the Panther) had high velocity 75s', the Tiger had an 88". Yeah, I know, technically a Tiger is a Panzer, but as kids, there were Mk3's, Mk4's, Panthers, Tigers, and oh mine Got, Koenigs Tiger! You get the idea.
Still sounds like a winner idea to me, for what little that's worth.
