My 10 step program
I keep hearing about the 10 step incrimental speed control on my HL boards. Can anyone distinguish that many steps? Is it 5 in forward and 5 in reverse? 7 in forward and 3 in reverse?
I think there is like 7 for faward

Hi Pscartozzi,
There are technically 31 steps in the speed control. The middle 1 is neutral, and there are 15 above it and 15 below it. I believe there may be more than 1 at the neutral point, and more than 1 at the "full on" points.
If you're really interested in how many there are, I can throw a scope on the board and count how many are unique.
