Default what are these

Rooky question but what are these? Handles? View ports? THis is from my HL tiger. How do I make them look right?

Thats the periscope port.

A triangular piece of clear plastic in there is whats needed... look around at the other tanks, and you'll see how some have done this.

ya i noticed they kind point in random directions. also gotta love how they painted the tools.

yeh, cut those tools off, best thing I did, they look pretty poor.

yes, tools will come off but I'm asking about the periscopes. Can someone post a pic of how they should look?

Hi Perry, heres a pic of the loaders periscope on a King tiger the armoured surround is bigger on the KT but the periscope will be very similar to the Tiger

Here is a photo of Tamiya's Static Tiger. It includes the hinges, latch, and periscope. If the hatch can be separated from the hull, you could add these. I have a Full Option Tiger, and since the hatches are separate parts, it was easy to add them. The kit has been discontinued, but parts are still available. What you would look for is Item #36203 1/16 German Tiger Early Prod. The 'K' sprue that you need.
