Default Shipping methods from MATO

Have any of you guys got Mato to ship any other way than Canadain post or UPS.They sent me some replacement damaged parts and I had them in 3 days. They sent it AIR MAIL SMALL PACKET and I had it 3 days latter.I wonder why they don't send a lot of this small stuff we order that way.On a small $50.00 order they want $22.00 shipping by UPS.Hell that is air freight prices anyway, and it takes a week or more to get it.Whats up with that. Can't they use priority mail ???
BIGMIG

Thought I better add,SORRY to those who are tired of seeing threads about Mato shipping, but like to know if there are other choices

They can only send it "Air Mail Small Packet" if the package is small (under 1 pound). They can't send tanks, metal tracks, or metal wheels that way.

BigMig:

A lot of that shipping cost by UPS is their brokerage fee. Look at your receipt/waybill next time. This is one of the major reasons I avoid UPS/FedEx like the plague.

Other reason is they do NOT leave parcel delivery attempt notes here in Canada. You don't know if its there unless you have the package tracking number and check the website nightly. Then you usually have to be there when it comes, or go to the depot to get it (and mine is the opposite end of town, a 1.5 hour bus ride either way, and then a mile walk into an industrial park (or a cab ride which costs more than the shipping)

And remember, you Americans have it easy with importing. $100 allowance in USD, we only get $20 in Canadian $. NAFTA - NOT a Free Trade Agreement.

If you just buy a tank every time you get some spare parts the bill won't look so bad. And you'll have a new tank to run around with!

Agreed! I am so tired of Mato shipping posts, at times they suck but they are the only North American supplier and they do work with you. Let's all just let the Mato issue pass[:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

I like Mato ... they are really cheap even with shipping - if I use asiatam ( that is located much closer to me ) its costs more ....
And Tank zone are very expensive ( nice stuff tho )..... Ebay prices is mostly highter than Mato too ... so there is reallly no better for me anyway .....
