I painted my Panzer III plastic tracks a few days ago and when I came to fit them on the tank they seem to be tighter than before! Has anyone else had this? They still work fine but it seems the sag in the tracks has gone.
I'm now after two extra plastic track sections - one per side. I cannot be bothered to buy a whole new set of eBay when I only need a few links.
Does anyone have any the do not want?

run the tank around its just the paint that has gotten between the links it kind of acts like glue. i had the same issue with my tiger,m26 and the tracks will get loose as you break them in.

In a similar vein... (before I have to bleed for $)
What do you Tamiya guys do with your stock Pershing tracks when you go metal? I ask as I'm in the market for sets for conversion to Leopard sets (add 6 links each, and presto) but its left me one single track short on my own poor Pershing. I thought I'd ask before IO order from Karen at the AAF.
I can also make renovated 1A4 sets on demand (you supply the Pershing tracks, I have spare links) or I can just send you the dozen needed links off (genuine Tamiya's, NOT HL copies) but it still leaves me short one side on my own M26.
Also puts me one Leo 1A4/Gepard stock set in surplus (plus spare links) and I've seen sets go in Germany for almost 60 Euro.
