Default Resources for learning ?

Hi All,

I just wondered if anyone could point out somewhere or a book maybe that would teach me all I need to know about the electronics and running gear in these tanks ?

I basically want to be able to undertake work on my Tiger without relying on the warranty too much as it costs me money to get my big tank sorted if there's a problem in the future. I'd rather be able to sort out any issue myself or at least diagnose any problems. It would also come in very handy if I was to scratch build a big tank.

I wish I'd have bought myself a Tamiya Tiger because I feel this may have given me a little more insight on how these things are actually put together and what makes what work if you get me, but I am no longer flush enough to afford one

Thanks,

Mark.

Hi Ian, Cheers for the link. I remember keeping an eye on that web site when it was first announced but I hadn't checked it out for some time so it was worth a look. I'll go through it in more detail over the weekend, maybe I can pick up some info.
It must take a lot of patience to scratch build a big tank like some of those on that forum, that and a lot of tools which I just don't have at this time [:@]

Thanks

Mark.
