Just thought I would pass this on. If your commander is wearing an M43 cap you can only put this figure in a tank scenario from 43 on as they didn't exhist before 1943. The peaked cap and wedge cap is correct for all periods. I know some might concider this nit picking just all depends on how accurate you want to be. If you spend time making corrections and attention to detail it should carry over to the figures as well. But don't get confused between the afrika corps forage cap and the m43 cap they are slightly different. The afrika corps cap has a longer beak and is made from tan colored cotton and has false ear flaps that don't fold down where the m43 is made of wool

Here's a link to an EM m43 black panzer cap http://www.lostbattalions.com/german...MM43PzHat.html the officers cap is the same but with silver pipeing around the edge of the top sometimes around the edge of the fold down flap as well.
and here's a DAK(Africa Corps) cap http://www.lostbattalions.com/german...isorEMCap.html
This company makes exact copies of WW2 german uniforms and caps. I have 2 of their KM wedge caps one blue wool one fieldgrau wool
