Notice the top photo, http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums...d.php?t=121174 while only a mockup, I would LOVE to have it and make it an RC version of this amazing tank. Scale seems to be around 1/6 or so, would like to outfit it with quality electronics similar to Tamiya's Leopard (actual engine, armament & motion sounds, recoil etc), but engineered for that scale. Dream, dream, dream

It's argueably the most 'modern' tank out there now and I agree it would make a great model.
Trying to mimic the hydraulic posturing would be a challenge!

Most recent, yes, most modern? I doubt it.
As for good looking, I'd still put the Merkava (all 4 models) at the top of my looks list. They look almost Sci-Fi futuristic... like you could delete the tracks, add armored skirts, and it'd be a version of a Frisian-made, iridium-hulled, powergun-armed tank like Alois Hammer put to good use... (Drake Fans unite!)
