I've had my TBU installed in my Leopard for quite a while, but never had a chance to use it. Since I am preparing for a battle this weekend, I tried it out by shooting at a mirror and then a white wall (as per instructions), but it does not work. [
] When I looked at the instructions again and remembered that they are catered toward a Tiger 1, I realized that the labels CN1 and CN2 are not present on my DMD. Mine all begin with the letter "J" (and no, there is no JN1 or JN2.
). My GFS base cable connector is plugged into J12 and my LED cable connector is plugged into J13. Would someone look at their Leopard and tell me if I have them plugged into the correct locations?
If they are in the correct locations, is there something about the battle unit in the Leopard that I may be missing?
I don't want to have to deal with this problem on battle day when the other guys want to get their own tanks ready.
Thanks!
Chad

I am not familiar with the Leo pin-outs but you must put the tank in "test mode" to shoot against a white background. Otherwise it will not register. You must move the DIP switches to the test position.

Thanks, I thought that I must be doing something wrong. [
] The only problem is that the Leo does not have those switches. If I remember correctly, those are the switches used in the WWII tanks to change the armor setting, but the Leo only has L, M and H (light medium heavy). I have to figure out how to get to the test mode on this tank.
Thanks, el65co! That is a step in the right direction. [sm=thumbs_up.gif]

The Leo does not have a self-test switch. Either it works or it does'nt.
Since it is one consolidated DMD unit, there is no communications cable to test if the DMD and MF are communicating properly as the WWII models.
