Heavy: Just lovin that tank. Forgive my ignorance, but is it scratchbuilt? I've not seen it anywhere hence the question. I'm assuming that it is scratch and that it is 1/16th and based on the Tamiya Leo, yes??

Appreciate the responses!

Yes, Tanxalot, it is a conversion based on the 16th Tamiya Leopard 2 with mostly scratchbuilt upper hull and turret.

Hey Heavy, do you think its possible to build a challenger2 from a leo2? I think i got tired of waiting for tamiya to come out with one.

A Chally2 is quite possible. The lower hull and running gear is virtually identical.

The major work would be the upper hull and turret but with all the Leo control devices and electronics you can't go wrong. Go for it!
