I'm thinking of painting my panther like this guy did, but I need to know which colors (from tamiya) would reproduce it...
Here's the link to the pictures...

Tamiya COlors that come close
xf52 lighten it up with xf2
xf54 with a mix of xf20
Seems Like there is no Base Coat there Not the Normal Ones you see anyway.. Looks like METAL with Brown Camo Pretty cool really. But that is the colors I would Start with and Try and find a Match Note you wont get Exact but it can be close if you Exsperiment. Also MIst your paint coats and add more not only does it make the Paint more smooth but the more layers you add of paint the Darker it will be.

Thanks AH64, much appreciated...
I don't want to go deep into something complicated, but I really like the look of this one. Plus it's different from all the regular Panthers out there... I'll look into doing that!

That's a Panther II. Had the KTs 88mm L-71 gun, KT track and running gear, rangefinder and the schmallturm. Armor was beefed up 25mm all inside. None ever entered combat....all captured at the end of the war without any turrets being married up with the chassis other that one at Kassel for trials. The Brits captured the turrets and US forces got the chassis plant. Pnly one existing turret and that was shot up at Bovingtron before anyone realized what it was. A Panther II chassis is at Ft knox Museum with a Panther A turret on it.
