Let me get some things straight. I do NOT put oil in the smoker until after 2-3 hrs of use. Then I would put about 4 mL in. Where is the on/off switch for the smoker on it? I am amazed on how the tracks are and all the little peices to them, a lot more complicated than my bulldog. Hey this one came with spares. I'm going to try to paint it this weekend, just depends if I am feeling up to the task. I haven't had any problems with it yet. It also has a ton more details than my bulldog. I'm happy so far.
Also, I've heard of breaking in the motor so it runs strong. Do I just give it full throttle for the entire battery length? Thanks.

Oil info sounds right, switch should be in the battery box, Labeled ABC. As for breaking in the motor and gears read through the FAQ thread there is lots of info on that.

Metal gears or plastic? I think one suggestion was to run the motors underwater in the sink. I've done this to clean the toothpaste off my gears and break in the motors at the same time. I think it's in the FAQ.

swathy must have some motors to sell, don't run them under the water, of course check the FAQ section! If you have run your tank had at all, you have already started to pit the connection on the inside of the motor, but it still may help some give it a go!
