Just received my Tamiya Tiger I about a week ago, and was all excited about it...BUT...because of one important reason, plus the fact that I couldn't wait until the Tiger I is assmebled, I took the electronics and mounted them on the Matorro King Tiger for testing.
Thus far, everything seems OK, EXCEPT the flash unit does not work consistently. [
] At times it flashes, but at other times it doesn't. However, the machine gun LED does works.
Can anyone tell me what has possibly gone wrong with the main gun flash unit? You help is much appreciated!

Did you make sure your trims were centered when you did the setup? You could be right on the edge of where there is enough throw with the trim+stick combined. One way to check is two swap the two Rx leads responsible, and see if the MG becomes intermittant. If so, it is 'cause your trim wasn't centered during setup.
Oh... I assume you're using the stick+trims, right? If its gun-buttons, you'd have said so, right? Installing gun-buttons would negate the problem if its the trims.

Yes, I am using the stick+trim. The funny thing is - when I fire the main gun, only the flash unit doesn't work consistently, but the gun sound effects is always consistently working.
