Default Top hull clips?

Has anyone modified their HL Tiger so that the top is held on by those clips that are typically used on buggies? It would save having to unscrew the lid every time I needed access, make charging the battery easy, and I could seal up those holes on the underneath.
Any tips? What would I need to get in order to do such a mod? Would such a mod actually work as an alternative to screws?
On the Tiger I should easily be able to hide the clips among all the deck furniture and detailing.

I just leave the outer 6 screws (above the tracks) out and only screw the other 3 or whatever in... its not that much of a hassle...

Me too. I only use three screws to keep the halfs together. Two at the very back and the one at the front.

I was thinking about using magnets for my tiger, or having it work like a funny car. Hinge the front or the back and open it that way.

I was thinking of using a similar system to the Tamiya Sherman on my H/L PZIII.

My Jagdpanther has one screw at the front and because of the shape of the hull the rest just clips into place.

A bit like a catch and latch mechanism, mounted half way along the inside of the upper and lower hulls.

I solved that one easy, moved all the switches and added a remote charging jack with access from above. Everything sealed up and waterproof, no need to go inside except for major level depot work.
