Very nice. Have you decided on what unit and camouflage your going to do?

Probably 13./II./SS.Pz.Regt. 2 that participated in the Battle of Kursk. I will more than likely use the color in the photos, Tamiya XF-60, as the base coat with a reddish brown and olive green camo pattern.

I'll more than likely wait till all my books come in first.

I'll definitely post more photos as my build progresses.

My wife is getting worried because she said I couldn't buy another tank, I have the Panther in mind, untill this one was built. She didn't think I'd even pull it out of the box.

Well here are some more pics.

I covered up the screws on the back because I'm going to go with the Kursk paint scheme, leaving the exhaust guards off.

The mud flaps on the back are metal.

I'll put more coats of the base color on once she's all together and I have my new airbrush.

Dazman,

I am very interested in the book / magazine in the last picture. What is it and where did you get it?

Thanks for the comments guys.

Yes, the book is called The Modeler's Guide to the Tiger Tank and the best place to buy it from here:

Okay, the charging circuit is now complete and installed.

The turret build is under way and progressing well.

I'll get her done yet.
