hi guys..can someone post an idiot's guide to posting pics on here? i have a digital camera and a laptop with my pics on but got no idea on how to go about getting the pis into a post..know you need some sort of photosharing thingy but which/what/how..? gotta be an idiots guide tho..!!!

Do you know how to get them on your desktop? If so, at the very bottom of the reply message box there is a "Click here to upload images and files!".

That's a start. Let's go from there!

Now, if you know the images file name, you just browse to the section they are at and select.

Pretty easy, post as many questions as neccessary.

one thing stuart watch the picture size I find about 600x400 is good

panther f- desktop..? sorry, i'm really not very computer smart[&o]! got pics on my laptop stored in my pic files but what is next step..?

when you post a reply look underneath the box you type in and you will see "click here to upload images and files" written in blue.
when you "click this another box should appear with loads of other boxes with "browse" written on it click the first browse button and it should open up "my pictures" (if it opens "my documents" then scroll through to get to your "my pictures " find the photo you want to upload highlight the photo to upload and click the open button .
Which should bring you back to the reply screen with the "browse" boxes then click the "O.K button at the bottom of the "browse" box depending on the size of picture and your internet connection should take a minute or less to "upload your piccie

nice one fv..! is there a way to set the size of a pic..?

I send mine to paint and down size using the strech and skew function a bit long winded and have now set the camera to take 640x480 sizes

This site seem pretty forgiving of posting pics. I upload from my home Mac and work PC and it automatically sizes my pics. Well there was the one time.....
