Default IR Tank Designations

Is there any official designations for what class Tanks are when using TBU or DBU? If so what are they?

ie Tiger is a heavy, Panther is a medium?

Tiger is a Heavy, 9 hits 9 second reload time! Panther HPPM are saying it is a medium but at the two west coast battle that I attended S.C.A.T & D.A.K. they fight them as a Heavy! The medium are usually fought with 5 /6 hits, 5 second reload time, like the Sherman, Panzer III or IV & the T-34.

Rmember if you just want the kits, go through darkith since you live right there! But if you want the kits built out stronger connector & Apple covering included, PM me! I was expecting my website to to go live by today, but my web developer drop off the side of the earth for a day or so![:@]

I have been playing Historical wargames for about 10 years now, and every set of rules we have used have had the Panther almost equal to the Tiger in protection and firepower. I can't imagine the Panther being equal to the sherman, T-34 maybe.

What would a Panzer III be?

I would be interested in seeing your apple coverings.

The neat thing about the Tamiya rules is that no tank type is given a definitive advantage. Last summer my main opponent for my Sherman was the Tiger, it took alot of hits to kill but Dennis would have to watch out for my faster reload time. I didn't feel out matched at all but we each had to employ a different strategy. Remember to keep it fun and simple first, a few clubs have imploded from arguments about rules.
