Default VS tank- problem with speed function

Hello. I rec'd my VS Abrams today and have a problem. It has 3 forward speeds. When I use speed #2 sometimes the tank will stop moving forward and the function will change to raising the barrel of tank. It does not do it all the time but often enough to be annoying. Speed 1 and 3 work fine. Sometimes when I press speed #2 the tank does nothing but raise the barrel, other times the tank will move..but then stop and do the raising of the barrel thing. Anyone experience this? I ordered this from toyeast....thanks (I am not accidently hitting the control button to raise the barrel..)

Hi i never heard of this befoer on a VS tank ...are your radios batteries new? if they are i would try pulling in and out the crystal the thing with the # printed on it and that may work it may not be contacting to well ...do the same for the crystal in your tank it's under the turret in the rear..

Hi..put all new batteries in and took out and plugged back in both the crystals...still doing it...(not as bad but still doing it...hit and miss...) I wonder if its in the tank or controller..either way I guess I have to pay to ship it back to toyeast and or pay to have a new one shipped back to me..(since the shipping cost is so much I may just deal with it and forgo the middle speed..which is a bummer because that is the speed I would use most..

Most company's make you pay to ship an item back for repair or replacement, but wanting to charge you again to send one back to you sounds like a heck of a good deal for them.I'm always curiouse why people in the U.S. go out of the country to buy a lot of these tank models and then when they have a problem, getting it resolved is a big problem and costly. "May I ask"Were these not avaible here,or did it just look like a good buy at the time.??? BIGMIG

I did not find a VS tank with airsoft in the US..This was the only one I can find but may have missed someone here selling them...I was incorrect in paying the shipping back for a replacement...but its just too much money for me to mail back a tank to Hong Kong..that was the risk I took and knew when placing the order..I was just optimisitc I would get a fine working tank since I heard so many good things about VS tanks (aka Toyko Marui..) Toyeast also has a good reputation so it was a risk I was willing to take...still a nice tank...just does not have 2nd speed..I also must say that toyeast did go above and beyond in getting me the color I wanted as it kept going out of stock..
