Just a 'heads up' guys.

Tracks will work, BUT NOT the drive wheels and idlers. These are configured for Tamiya shafts only.

This has been confirmed by Mato.

Thought you'd want to know prior to outlay of hard earned and scarce $$$$$$$$

one question..and correct me if Im wrong...Why would anybody want to replace the Tamiya "Heavy duty" metal Drive sprockets that comes with all the kits , with those that are "feather lite" zinc/tin type? are they the same type of light metal as the metal drive sprocket upgrade for the HL Panzer III offered by Mato??? I have those ...and if so..they dont even come close to the Tamiyas. The Tamiyas are HEAVY casted and the others are like "metal-plastic lite"....just wondering why they even make them for the Tamiya??? If you were to put them on the Tamiya King Tiger it WILL NOT be an upgrade..thats for sure.

Fury,

Impact metal track spockets WILL work on HL! I have 3 sets of Impact tracks on HL tanks. The Tamiya shaft has two lobes on the shaft as opposed to HL's one....all one has to do is Dremmel out one lobe on the iside of the sprocket hub and they slide in and lock on very well. Didn't have any problems witn the idler at all, but possibly the KT has a different system? I don't have a KT so can't check it out.

May have to check with a dealer on possible sprocket shaft size changes.

I emailed Mato about that today, can't wait to hear what they have to say.

i posted a question for IMPACT at youtube about their kingtiger tracks...[8D]

do your tracks fit the matorro KT as well?

Hi,
this question has been asked many many times.
Yes, it will fit.
But the Matorro KT might not perform after installing
The Matorro gearbox does not have sufficient to power the tank, and even it has, the electronics will have the current to move the motor under massive weight.
