Need help doing a basic take down? here you go step by step..
1. pic one. there is 8 screws you need to take out please not how easy it is to unscrew.. You should use the same force when you assemble again. the tank should come apart with no problems. NOTE STEP 2!!!!!
2.ok so now you have all the screws out. now you need to disconnect the wires, DO NOT pull them apart by the wires, pull them apart by the plastic and base of the connectors. You will need to use a little force.
3.Time to take off the turret, unscrew the 3 screws and keep them seprate from the rest. NOTE STEP 4!!
4. ok so now the gear is free and the turret can come off but you need to disconnect the 3 wires. in step 5 youll see what ones that I disconnected, the reason for this is there is more wire on that side to play with and room for mistake.
5. youll see here that I have diconnected the wires and have marked them so I know whre they go when I reconnect the wires.
6. disconnect the little board.
7. Congrats!! your done!! you rock!

I have a Pershing with only 7 screws on the bottom, 1 in the rear, not two. When I first took it apart the screw wouldn't come out, just went round and round. Or so I thought. Hull separated easily, the upper hull is for 8 screws!
