On non-S&S, the lights only come on when the tank is moving. Is it just the reverse lights and not the headlights too? Check nothing is laying across the boards, look for fine-copper wire, a single strand can cause issues if it shorts.

no nothing works, no wheel movement, no turret movent nor gun firing . the damn reverse LED's come on as soon as i turn on the power switch. there was no smoke coming from my board (last time i used it) and it doesnt smell burnt either. i have the tank open and nothing looks out of place on the board. all wires are intact and none of them seem to be crossed. im wondering if the switch has gone bad?? i notice on my setup theres three red wire going into the switch and two of them go back to the board right next to eacother. i tested both wires with a multimeter and one got 7.6v going into the middle of the switch. the other red wire that goes to the board (is on the opposite side from the red wire coming from the battery connecter) did not register any voltage? is this normal?
BTW- no the headlights are not on when i hit the power switch just reverse LED's

found that other red wire to be a ground that went from the switch to the board. they obviously did not take the time to color coordinate wire job. guess i will have to invest in the other board. is running the S&S board cheaper than the el-mod? anyone with a non S&S setup try either one of these modifications?

The second wire coming from the other side of switch is supposed to ground the board when its switched off. I never install or reinstall the 3rd wire (usually snip it) and I dont have probs.
