What's up all? Haven't posted for a while but I've been lurking around. Biting my tongue on that Tam vs HL thread. Seen some good stuff on here lately. Seems like HDbeast has become the American "Stern'.
Haven't been tanking much lately but work has me over here in Germany for a month so maybe I'll try to go see some actual tanks.
Anyway, thought I'd say hi to all the old friends and enemies!

I was wondering what you were up to! Figured you were working on your MOPAR. Have fun in Germany, good time to order El Mod, shipping is cheap to wherever you're staying!

If you have the time, go up to the Deutsche Panzer Museum in Munster. Thats way up north but they have every type panzer that was used, and all 100% functional.

Hey Perry, I am in a winter induced tank hiatus also, waiting for the pz IV or Stug to become available locally. Isn't Germany the model tank capital of the world? Have fun bud !

Well I went to the museum in Munster today. I was amazed at their collection. First class restorations on all their pieces and a huge variety. I have to admit that I was amazed at the size of these things. Living in my 1/16 work it is easy to pick up a track or an idler or whatever. Really cool seeing the original of what I have been modeling. I guess I never really realized just how flippin big a King Tiger was. Especially when compared to their Sherman. Here's a few pic's

I think i see a Goliath along the right side of the panther pic, a remote control tank that was designed to explode, it has something in common with our Heng Long's

Hi Wacky,
Sorry, wrong as usual, do your research. That is a German armored tracked trench service out house. The very first portapotty.

Real funny pcomm1...
It's actually not even an A7V, but a replica, based on "Mephisto" A7V which we have here in Australia. The real "Wotan" got scrapped after the war (WW1), so Germany scratchbuilt (lol) another.
