just thought i would post a few pictures of my tiger on its way back from active duty for a bit of r & r, i went down to the beach to gets some shots and to i thought it would be fun to have a little run around...it’s great fun until you get hone and have to strip her down to get all of the sand out[
].
must get back to working on my tamiya sherman firefly conversion.

Nice tank and some great shots! Trying getting the camera a little lower next time to simulate the height of a 1/16 scale man standing nearby and taking the pictures.

the only problem with taking a shot lying down is when you get a gust of wind a mouthfull of sand , sand in your camera and people laughing.

Those are even better pictures IMO! Yeah I probably look foolish too lying in the dirt and sand taking pictures of my toy but I don't care what anyone else thinks about that. The pictures are for me and the kids.

I am off to a place called Gwithian in Cornwall (near the Godrevy lighthouse) in july and will be taking my tiger and camera to play on the beach , so I have about 5 months to get the Tiger ready for the beach

Using a camera with an articulating LCD (like my Canon a620) can help with these shots. Ideal for pets, tanks, pet tanks, pets in tanks etc. It can lie low, but you don't have to.
