Default Panzer-Mech

Looking for new panzer info I stumbled on this, my first thought was they made a panzer mech !

Apparently it was a mine-clearing panzer, 80 mm under armor and armored feet/tracks.

these things can't be for real.....now we know where the Evil Empire Imperial Walker came from. The first picture I have seen, but the others must have been dreamed up from Star Wars, ltd..

That was the impression I got too. There is a link at the bottom of the page that will take you to the main page where there is a list of real vehicles and some that were just on the drawing board.

When I first seen that very pic years ago I thought it was some kind of floating cabin between two large wheels. Turns out its a big ugly 3-wheeled tractor [&:]

ya i have seen that before. looks like loose tracks around a single wheel. no clue on how the inside of the wheel works for traction etc. there is an rc in 1/35 on youtube.

Those wheels were based on ones used on some WWI artillery guns

I notice that it does a nice job dispersing weight by having three pads on the ground, good for dispersing the blast also. Nice find 'Stuff', that lil 1/35 looks awesome.
