Hi
Does anybody know if there are any differences between the Pershing and King Tiger DMD units in the Tam kits. I know the MF units are different but I have a spare KT DMD and would like to use it with a Pershing MF unit in a project but wanted to know if the KT one will work the MF unit properly giving all the functions.
Thanks

maybe you can hook it up to 2 spare gear boxes that are not connected to any sprockets or tracks and see if it works just fine. I know the tam pershing has that safety lock for its drive train, where by you will need to go to full throttle trim reverse and full throttle reverse momentary to disengage the safety and allow it to drive off. maybe if you use the KT DMD this function is disabled.

they are not the same M26 should work with eitehr dmds, but you need to engage the gear from neutral to gear by moving the joy stick backward and push the trim forward afterward. With the King tiger, its just a straight forward start...I like this idea. But once you get used to M26 MF, its nothing wrong.
Eg engine noise and firing sound are different for sure.

There is a slight electrical difference in how it drives the motors (gear ratio) as well. One DMD may be a little faster than the other for the same tank.
