Ive been working my way through the series, the bulldog is used as both US and German tanks throughout the shows. They also use a US halftrack with a circular turret on top for a German vehicle. Still a great series.

Also been watching 12 oclock high, grew up on these shows. Rat patrol is ok but don't care for the actors, to much posing.

Ah good old "Combat" guess since I watched these the first time run shows kinda gives my age away HUH? Now when I watch these old shows and after being in the collecting of german militaria and re-enacting I see all the errors they made. But still they are nice to watch from time to time brings back alot of fond memories as a kid.

I'm 51, there was a show about a tank crew that had, I believe a sherman, but only lasted one season if that, never could remember the name of the show.

The only war show series I can remember from back then(1960 on) are The Gallant Men, Combat, and Rat Patrol. Then their was my comic book war series Sgt Rock, The Haunted Tank just to name a couple

Greetings fellow Tankers - I just watched a couple episodes of Combat last night too. I've got the whole DVD collection (all 5 seasons). Combat was THE show when I was growing up. One of the episodes was the "Bridge at Chalons," and it had a Bulldog in it providing support to the squad as they pushed the Germans back to a bridge at the end of a village. I remember looking at the lights on the front of this tank, and there is a third light on the left side next to the two headlights (this is the right side as you view the head-on shot of the tank). I remember someone once said there was no light like that on the Bulldog, so that caught my attention. Great show, great tank, great job by Heng Long !!!
