Default Speed control

New forum member here but have been reading for awhile. Mato in Canada has a video of a HL Tiger shooting and moving. The tank has sound and smoke capability. I think I read on the forum here that the HL tanks with S&S have enhanced speed control, but the tank in the video appears to only have one forward speed and that's fast. Is variable speed control available on the S&S units? Thanks

yes the S&S tanks have a proportional speed control i.e the more you push the stick forwards the faster the tank goes, it is the same in reverse. I bought a S&S tiger and have fitted the Elmod gear that uses the Original HL gear to run.

Hi ailog welcome. I have a HL S&S Tiger that runs almost as well as My Tamiya Tiger in fact I think it does a little better in turning but not as well in Reveres. The new HL tanks really seem to
do well right out of the Box. I don't think you can go to wrong with a New S&S tank for a start in Tank R/C.

The S&S system seem to work so well I think I am going to use it in a Sherman 50006 kit.

Thanks Brel and Leon for the great feedback. I flew R/C helies a long time ago, but I always liked big armor.
