Default Tamiya elactronics

Tamiya's MF-01 and MF-03 have a socket labeled CN-5 next to the firing led. Does anyone know what that socket can be used for? If it is functional how can it be addressed (using a transmitter).

Default RE: Tamiya elactronics

My user manual says CN5 is a socket for options and is not used.

I would guess that it is for a light, try plugging one in and see if it lights up.

I too would be interest to know if it works or not.

Cheers

Alan.
