If you just want batteries and don't care that it doesn't have the "Matorro" logo on it, here's a few that a little better than the stock Matorro batteries.

You can also find some on Ebay.

Since this is open what is a good battery to run in A HL or Torro tank. For long running time The stock battery seems to last only about 20 min they are 1700mah or so. Being new to RC I'm not to sure about mah only is better or nicd vs nimh

Thanks for the replies but the Sturmtiger has a strange 3 wire connection that is not like the Heng Long or Tamiya connections. Does anyone have a Sturmtiger with this connection?

The Sturmtiger has 3 wires as they have tapped into one of the battery cells to provide a lower voltage to the main board and a higher voltage to the motors. You should be able to do this yourself if you feel confident.

Thanks Mario, I guess when this battery goes I will take it apart and figure something out as it seems that they do not have replacement batteries at this moment. I wished they just used the same setup as Heng Long.[
