Default Robbe 1:10 Leopard

Hi..

Was wondering if any of you have had the chance to look at the Robbe Leo..
It has a heft pricetag (42€) so I would like to know if the quality match the prize ;-)

Best regads.

For the amount of obvious inconsistancies between it and the real deal...no way.

Is it really that Off Scale..? I have not seen many of these new Leo`s, as my main interest is in WWII tanks.
seams kind of funny that Robbe would put out a stand-off scale model in this prise range.
It better be a techical marbel at this prize.. Anyone seen one up front..?

Regards

Not very many sellers of Robbe stuff here in the States. I'm trying to get some of Robbe's differentials for a project of mine and they are tough to get over here.

The angles are all wrong, its like that Japanese company (Sankyo) that makes Nitro tanks - sorta look the part in the distance, up close its another story ([link=http://www.tokyo-hobbies.com/img_khoutou.jpg]King Tiger example[/link]).

Kind of like the tin tanks you see floating around on ebay...

EDIT: Please excuse my temporary lack of intelligent thought, I hadnt had my first coffee of the day

Sankyo is Japanese not Chinese, Wacky. The Sankyo King Tiger is not a very good model appearance wise but it is good mechanically. Sankyo's other models ( Japanese type 74 and type 61) are much better in the appearance department and maintain good mechanics as well.

(yes that's a Sankyo Type 61 in my Avatar, all 113 pounds of it.)
