Well I am not one to post pictures of my work, but you all seem gentle on the comments. This KT is almost done. Rear hatch, weathering and little miscellaneous stuff. After doing this one my Tiger 1 looked like it needed a do over. So she is torn down and being redone. My Panther then my Sherman are waiting in line for the make overs. The more I see the work on this sight, I learn a lot more. So I incorporate and get better. I am not afraid now to try new things. If I mess up it can be redone. Well her she is.

Thanks for the comments. Learning how to airbrush made it a lot easier. So I just winged it and did this camo. Suppost to be Normandy '44. I don't know if KT's came like this but, I like it. As for the weathering I am going to dust it with a mixture of earth colors and seal it with dull coat. Then I don't know I might cover it with a black or dark earth wash and seal it again with dull coat. What do you guys think? I like learning so give me your advise.

great looking model! I like your attitude regarding the paint scheme, at the end of the day, it's your tank so as long as you have pleased with the end result thats all that matters.
hope you enjoy doing the rest of your collection.

Well here she is. I have tried my hand at painting, weathering, and modifying. ( still not as hard as the Tiger 1 I am transforming from Early to Initial. Which is coming along and made easier by the book swathdiver recommended. There are a lot of differences between the two Tiger 1s. I will post pics soon.) The KT came out a little darker than I wanted, but I have got use to it. Installed a metal loaders hatch , a modified metal shell ejector hatch which now opens and closes, why ? and miscellaneous other parts. Paint chips are next and hopefully she is done. The revised Impact gear boxes have been ran about 2hrs and are still going strong. These gear boxes with the black long cans makes this KT almost unstoppable. Even down to its last breath it still has power. Slow, but there. So now any critiquing is welcomed.

looking sweet.
I don't think the paint's to dark, it makes it look mean and moody!
Now get on with the tiger 1, sherman + panther!

I'd be interested to see your gearboxes and motors at battlday. I'm considering some upgrades like that. The loaders hatch, escape hatch, pistol port plug, and shell ejection hatch make this KT second to none. You've got an eye for detail. It looks fabulous and I know from experience it runs in battle conditions as well as it looks off the field.
See you Sunday!

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I really appreciate knowing my hard work and many ideas I got from this forum has payed off. Unfortunately, I can't make the SCAT battle. My kids are going to participate in Westside Food Bank's Hunger Walk. Although Alex and I were looking forward to going, he felt the walk was more important. See you at the DAK battle.
