Hello does anybody on here know of anywhere in the uk that has stock of the Tamiya XF60 Dark Yellow Paint. It seems to be getting more and more difficult to find and My local model shop is telling me that there are problems getting it from Tamiya at the moment because of a labelling issue. If anyone on this forum has any spare jars that they would be willing to sell or if any one can give me the name of somewhere in the uk that they know has got stock then I would be very gratefull. I know I could use a different brand of paint but I get good results with the Tamiya stuff and I like to stick with what I know if I can. I have already started painting my Tiger 1 with XF60 and don't really want to start over with the paint if I can help it. Thanks

I've not been able to get any Tamiya Spray paint for weeks.
I've also heard that they've got a problem with the labels, but somewhere else I was reading that Tamiya are remixing all the colours (probably trying to keep the costs down) so the new XF60 may be slightly different.
Just found this-
Tamiya Paint Recall (24/08/2007 @ 10:56:48)
Tamiya TS MS & AS sprays have been recalled to Japan following labelling issues. They will be available in the UK shortly & back in stock as soon as Tamiya have the problem resolved.
24/08/07??????????????? it's taking them a a hell of a long time just to sort out the labels.
And there's more
Tamiya TS MS & AS sprays have been recalled to Japan following labelling & constituent issues to meet new European Laws. We have been informed that these paints will now be available in the UK in 2009, much later than we were initially told. We will have Tamiya spray paints back on our shelves as soon as they are available in the UK.

Percy,
if you're still interested in obtaining Tamiya XF60, I went into Brum today to Mr models (tel no. 01214202046) email [email protected]. He still has a full stock of paint INCLUDING your XF60 (I bought one!) he has at least three to my knowledge and he said that if you give him a call he will get them off to you asap.
